Being a demon and being demonized are,
you must understand,
two completely different things.
Though demon myself, I suffer
from association with the
nouveau dépravé, who are
without practice or code.
Whereas I hold close to the principal virtues
of demonhood:
misanthropy, greed, licentiousness,
perfidy, hypocrisy, and craft.
So, you see, I am quite pious.
When I visit you in your most
unguarded moments, remember,
dear children, as you succumb,
that the epitome of life,
the epitome of art is the same,
not righteousness,
but purity.
