I come in the kitchen and right off it was
What was that all about
and I told her some nut from town wanting pictures
and she said of what and I said of the farm I guess.
Some kid? No
I said this guy had 20 on me or
I’d of told him to take a hike.
I kinda felt sorry for him.
Did he take one?
A hike?
A picture idjit.
Just me and the combine.
You didn’t buy anything?
He never was selling. He said something about documenting the presence of the farmer. And I said how much proof do you need and that was all the action I got today how about you?
and she said
Is he paying?
I never asked I said.
And she said We’ll put that on your headstone I guess.
