What can I say?
I like it here.
Here, I’m the Creature from
the Blue Lagoon,
stupid, two-eyed, drinking from
the wrong well.
Like a foal.
Just able enough to
get myself into trouble.
But it is so seductive, is
the season. The baby
struggling to wake,
gasping at shallow earth.
